Left at a leisurely 12pm today, and arrived at Goondiwind at about 4:45pm. (There was a ridiculous amount of traffic and road works that we went though.)
First animal sighting (apart from the Roo's on the road) was a group of emus on the side of the road, just wandering around. They all stuck their heads up as we drove past.
On the menu tonight will be chicken, in sweet chilli and soya sauce, with pan fried asparagus, tomato and onion.
Hopefully tomorrow we'll get a little way past Coona, and then camp for the night.
